Welcome to Dermatology2go, the global evolution of one of the largest Dutch dermatology platforms: Huidconsult.nl. Dermatology2go combines advanced technology with trusted expertise, empowering individuals worldwide to take control of their skin health.

Dermatology2go is an initiative by Webcamconsult BV, a leader in remote healthcare since 2013. Trusted by hospitals, GP practices, healthcare institutions, and occupational health services globally, Webcamconsult offers secure video consultations, virtual waiting rooms, and chat functionality. Building on this strong foundation, Dermatology2Go connects patients directly with top dermatologists through a specialized platform.

Our mission is simple: to make expert dermatological care accessible to everyone. Visitors to our platform can use the DermaWizard for self-diagnosis to identify potential skin conditions, explore dermatologist-reviewed information on a wide range of skin issues, and easily book consultations with qualified specialists to address their concerns. The content we offer is curated by dermatologists, with much of it based on the trusted resources of Huidinfo.nl and optimized by using the latest AI-tools.
And with input from everyone leaving a message in the comment section, we consider those with any kind of skin problem or disease to also be specialists in their own way.

Dermatology2go was founded by experienced dermatologists Dr. Milan Tjioe and Dr. Dick van Gerwen, along with internet entrepreneur Drs. Bert van Gerwen. Together, with the support of Webcamconsult, they are committed to making eHealth solutions a reliable bridge between doctors and patients.

By combining the expertise of dermatologists with Webcamconsult’s secure and innovative technology, Dermatology2go ensures patients can access high-quality care in a safe and seamless way. Doctors, in turn, can grow their patient base using the tools provided by Dermatology2go and Webcamconsult.

Our vision goes beyond just providing access to care; we aim to offer impartial, high-quality information on as many skin conditions as possible. Dermatology2Go also fosters supportive e-communities where users can share their experiences and seek advice.

Dr. Milan Tjioe

dr. Milan Tjioe

Since 2009 he has been affiliated with the Lievensberg Hospital in the Netherlands as a dermatologist. He specialized in dermatology at the University Medical Center St.. Radboud and obtained his doctorate in 2003, after scientific research into the harmful effects of ultraviolet radiation (UV light) and into improving light therapy for the treatment of vitiligo.

Tjioe is a medical advisor to the Dutch National Association for Vitiligo Patients (LVVP) and has also written the book ‘”‘Vitiligo en zo’”’ for them together with dDdr.. Ingrid Kramer, psychologist.

Tjioe is a general dermatologist with a special interest in the treatment of skin cancer and psoriasis and pediatric dermatology.

Dr. Dick van Gerwen

dr. Dick van Gerwen

Since 1996, he has been affiliated with the Lievensberg Hospital in the Netherlands as a dermatologist. He has many years of experience with all possible forms of skin problems and diseases.

His training was completed at the University Hospital Nijmegen St. Radboud, where he obtained his doctorate in 1994, after scientific research into the effectiveness of elastic stockings for varicose veins and venous insufficiency.

Dick van Gerwen was co-founder of the phlebology clinic in Lievensberg Hospital for the treatment of varicose veins and chronic wounds. In 2001 he started the Skin and Laser Clinic in Bergen op Zoom, and in 2007 he started Huidconsult.nl, a website with extensive patient information and online consulting. He was chairman of the Dutch Association for Dermatology and Venereology (NVDV).

drs. Bert van Gerwen, CEO

Bert van Gerwen is an e-business and e-health innovator who, after e-commerce projects at the Dutch telecom provider KPN in the XNUMXs, has focused on developing e-business platforms and offering online services via iMerge and Iceshop.

Until recently, he was (co-)owner of iMerge, best known for its subsidiaries Futurumshop BV and Icecat NV, the world market leader in product content syndication with customers such as Intel, Philips, Sony and Samsung. After the sale of his shares, he profiles himself as an investor in e-business and e-health.

In Webcam.doctor he is not only an investor but also a co-architect of the service. In addition, he is responsible for building up the technical and commercial activities in particular.

Huidconsult.nl gaat verder als Dermatology2Go, met nog meer mogelijkheden. Je vindt hier dezelfde betrouwbare informatie én verbeterde functies zoals de DermaWizard. Daarnaast kun je nu ook online een afspraak maken met een dermatoloog. Alle beschrijvingen van huidaandoeningen zijn uiteraard up-to-date.

Consultation types

Walk-in Consultation

A walk-in consultation allows you to have a real-time video consultation with the doctor without a prior appointment. You will enter a virtual waiting room and the doctor will attend to you as soon as they are available.

E-mail advice

An email advice allows you to receive a professional assessment from a certified dermatologist via email within two working days. You will complete a questionnaire describing your skin concern, and the doctor will provide their evaluation and recommendations in writing.

Physical Consultation

A physical consultation involves an in-person visit to the doctor's clinic or designated location. You will have the opportunity to discuss your skin concerns face-to-face and receive a thorough examination and treatment plan.

Video Consultation

A video consultation enables you to have a remote appointment with the doctor via a secure video platform. This option provides convenience and flexibility, allowing you to discuss your skin concerns from the comfort of your own home.
