Epidermolysis Bullosa Simplex is an inherited condition where the skin is extremely vulnerable. Minimal friction or pressure can cause blisters, especially on hands and feet.
Symptoms

- Nail changes or hair loss
- Blisters in the mouth or throat in some types

Causes
EBS is mainly caused by genetic mutations that affect proteins responsible for the cohesion between skin layers. This leads to blistering with minimal friction.
Diagnosis
Diagnosis is based on symptoms, family history, and sometimes with a skin biopsy or genetic test.
